Real-time control is a key requirement for power electronics control. With DSP from Texas Instruments, the control routines are organized in interrupts with priorities so that the execution of the most critical task is guaranteed on top of the less critical and background routines.
The DSP control code is programmed without an OS or any intermediate layer with the peripheral registers, which are managed directly by the control developer. In this way, all the details and possibilities are available to the engineers to succeed in the modulation, acquisition and control signals.
In addition to the control board hardware, a base program with some tutorials will be provided after a first purchase order. Additional technical support from teknoCEA can be provided under request. Our main goal is the customer’s success.
The CDA01-CU5 is a general-purpose control board based on the F28M36 Concerto microcontroller from Texas Instruments for control and automation applications, and allows you to implement complex control algorithms in any converter typology.
The Concerto family is a multicore system-on-chip microcontroller unit (MCU) with independent communication and real-time control subsystems.
The board has been designed to use all the F28M36 capabilities. It Includes all the necessary hardware for a power converter control application such as ADC, PWM, encoder, captures, DAC, communications and digital I/O. It can be programmed using CCS and our JTAG interface (CDA03-JTAG2).
Because of its Ethernet connectivity, it can be directly used in Smart Grid and IIoT applications.
The CDA01-CU5 control board is able to control and is compatible with up to 3 of our power converters.
This solution will speed-up your projects in the prototype designing and construction phases. Its unique included features make it the best choice in power converter applications research.
