Integration architecture

The solution provides a secure wireless mesh network to communicate the points with a gateway implementing the OCPP protocol to integrate the chargers with the owner's back end, so the infrastructure exploitation is enabled.

The mesh network both simplifies the installation by the total absence of connections and field cable installation for communications and at the same time uses a costless physical layer in the charging points. The wireless mesh network also assures the cybersecurity by means of a secure encrypted layer to transmit the data.

The gateway, acting as one more node in the mesh network, collects all the charging points data and send commands/setpoints to allow charging session aothorization according to the OCPP operations. The gateway is therefore the only device in the installation having a cabled connection for OCPP purpose.
